1 Pan. 15 Minutes. Chicken Saute- P3 hCG Diet Recipe
I’m very fond of recipes that don’t take too long.
Every now and then I get into the “cooking is a fun hobby!” mode and then making lavish meals with 28 ingredients that take approximately 40 times as long to make as to eat become a fever for me. But usually after about 2 weeks of that, it gets old as my interests wander once again to something else.
Not only during Phase 3 of HCG Injections, but just eating healthy in general long term, requires a dedication to cooking most your meals at home. Eating out too frequently just doesn’t cut it.
But let’s face it- saying time is limited for most of us is an understatement. So in reality, it’s great when we can find recipes that are quick, tasty, and healthy. You get all three with this recipe as it’s low carb and fits within the P3 hCG Diet guidelines.
Quick Tip to Taste Perfection: Don’t leave out the fresh cilantro! I used to kind of disregard ingredients like fresh herbs as being kind of the least important and often wouldn’t bother to add them. How wrong I was! I’ve discovered that throwing in a quarter cup of chopped fresh herbs whether it be cilantro, mint, dill, or italian parsley, literally makes any dish come alive- it really tastes that much better.
1 Pot. 15 Minutes. Chicken Saute
1 package of chicken thighs chopped into cubes (approx. 1.5-2lbs)
1 package mushrooms (pre-chopped if you want to save time)
4-5 yellow squash, like crookneck, remove seeds with spoon, cut into bite size pieces.
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup – 1 cup Chopped Cilantro
1/4 cup Chopped Green Onion
Pre-made Bruschetta (I use Trader Joe’s brand)
Add olive oil to saute pan on medium heat and add chicken- saute for about 5 minutes while you prepare the squash and mushrooms. Add squash and mushrooms, salt, garlic powder, and garlic. Saute till all cooked through. Add chopped green onion, then turn off heat after 15-20 more seconds. Add chopped cilantro. Dish out into bowls and top with a generous helping of Bruschetta. Stop salivating and eat.
