HCG- losing FAT! -R3P2D2
Tea is one of my saving graces on the HCG Injections. With a little stevia, I can find a way to be satisfied when I can’t eat.
My favorite black tea is Numi’s Organic Chinese Breakfast Tea– 2 cups of this each morning is what wakes up this Chica each day.
Numi’s Green Rooibus tea and Numi Organic Honeybush Tea are super tasty herbal/uncaffeinated teas.
Tazo Zen Green Tea is so delicious- a blend of lemongrass and spearmint- a truly inspired combination if you ask me.
Zhena’s Gypsy Chocolate Chai Tea
For the chocolate lovers out there, the The Republic of Tea, Double Dark Chocolate Mate is yummy and rich.

Can I drink Matcha on ph2?
Shay says
Can you drink store bought bottled teas like/ Pure Leaf unsweetened black tea? I’m hoping I can…if so, my plan is to sweeten it with stevia.
Thanks!
Lucelle says
Hi Shay,
I checked the nutrition facts of the PureLeaf Unsweetened black tea and yes it’s okay for Phase 2. It doesn’t have any additional ingredients so it’s safe.
Susan says
Numi organic honeybush tea so is it honey since it is similar in taste to honey.. Can it be used during phase 2 of HCG?
Lucelle says
Hi Susan,
This is Lucelle, Rayzel’s assistant. Nice to meet you! 🙂
Numi Organic honeybush tea’s only ingredient is Honeybush so it’s okay during Phase 2.
Hope that helps!

Just want to know if this normal or I shall increase my shot?

Hope I can get some advice in here. Thanks!

It’s uncommon for weight loss to stall this early on the diet, even if the hCG dose is low you’re still supposed to lose weight with eating 500 calories only.
Are there any foods you are having every day on the protocol? If so, it would be worth removing them and changing it up a bit- sometimes people have a sensitivity to food and it does indeed stall them- cabbage, tomatoes, and beef are common stall causers for some on hCG.
You can also check out Rayzel’s posts on stalls here: hcgchica.com/stalls
Hope that helps!

Has anyone tried Bengal spice tea? The ingredients say that there’s not any oil but I’m on day three of eating VLC and haven’t lost any weight. I’m reavaluating everything and the only thing I can think of that there could possibly be hidden oil in is the tea. I emailed the company but haven’t heard back yet.
Lucelle says
Hi Natalie,
I also checked their website and the ingredient list is not showing any oil in it. Rayzel has a short article that can help you here: https://hcgchicahelphub.com/not-losing-weight-but-not-cheating-on-hcg/

Does it matter what type of tea’s I drink? Is any kind alright? Or is there specific teas I should avoid getting??

Phase 2 ends when you’re finished with your first vial of injections (or drops). Close to the end of a round, my weight starts to plateau. Then you go on to phase 3 where you maintain and stabilize and after you’re good on that, you’ll either go back to phase 1 then 2 and repeat however many rounds you’re doing. After phase 3, you go to phase 4 which is eating right and living life the way you want that keeps you at a good weight
