These are short testimonials of ladies who’ve written in their hCG diet results to me for quick motivation.
This got started from the comment Julie left on the P3 program membership site:
“Someone in heaven is watching over me because the weekend that I started P3 was the same weekend that Rayzel offered the P3tolife program!!! I bought it immediately and am completely in love!! I’ve NEVER been so excited and happy with food I am eating and felt so satisfied and good at the same time! If I said my eyes didn’t get misty I’d be lying. When you work SO hard on something for quite a long time, not knowing whether or not it will be useful or valued once you put it out there for everyone to see and use, getting comments like THIS one truly validate all that painstaking work.
After I contacted her, this was her follow up reply:
“Ahhh! So good to hear from you. I meant every word I said! I really don’t have a clue what I’d be doing right now without this program and I’m so excited about the future! I lost 20 pounds on HCG and 8 pounds on Rayzel (haha)*. Total loss of 28 pounds in 2 months – that is crazy!!”
*Please note: Weight loss during P3 is not typical – usually the goal for most is to stabilize their new weight loss – however, some P3tolife members, by eating to hunger (which means that in many cases they end up finding they don’t eat all the P3 meals in their entirety), they end up losing more weight which is something they uniquely choose to do. I am personally not against this either- at some point you stabilize your weight loss, but in my experience, when exactly you do this doesn’t honestly seem to matter.

- Starting Weight: 164.8 lbs
- Ending Weight after hCG: 144 lbs
- Ending Weight after P3tolife Program: 136 lbs
- Total Weight Loss: 28.8 lbs
- Age: 45 years old
- She has Celiac Disease and has been gluten-free for 3-4 years. She also has a thyroid problem making it hard for her to lose weight.

THE P3TOLIFE PROGRAM DURING PHASE 3 OF THE HCG PROTOCOL
What type of hCG did you use, and where are you currently at in your weight loss journey?
This was my first time to do the HCG diet. A friend asked me to do it with her and I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. I wasn’t very prepared. I used a doctor in Dallas and did the injections. I was really struggling with hunger even after 3 weeks and my doctor didn’t know why.
I called my pharmacist and they thought the doctor prescribed too high a dose. I googled “what causes hunger on HCG diet” and that’s when I watched a video or read about it on HCG chica.
I started at 164.8 pounds on Jan 31, 2017 and lost 20 pounds in 5 weeks on HCG diet and then transitioned to P3 after 5 weeks – I couldn’t take being on P2 anymore! The same weekend that I was transitioning to P3 I got an email from HCGChica about a program for P3. I bought it that weekend. I continued to lose weight by following the advice of Rayzel and using the P3tolife program/recipes.
If you were to explain to an hCGer in just a few sentences why the P3 program has been valuable to you, what would you tell them?
I was willing the follow P3toLife JUST to get my weight stabilized, but the bonus was I continued to lose weight (8 more pounds on P3), had absolutely NO problems, never did a steak day, NEVER felt hungry and the recipes were OUT of SIGHT DELICIOUS!!
P3tolife has been more than just three week transition, it is a new way of life for me!
What did the P3 program provide to you that you feel like you didn’t have before without in on past Phase 3s?
I am the luckiest girl in the world because I have never done Phase 3 without the P3 program – sorry that doesn’t help you much, but it was great for me – LOL!
How did you end up following the program – did you do the original plan, the simplified, or build your own meal plan or just tweaks to one of these? Can you give a few details of how you utilized the program and tailored it to yourself and your circumstances?
I made the recipes for myself and my family of 4. I tripled almost all the recipes except a few I only doubled. Because I work full time, I needed to maximize my cooking time, and I would triple the recipes and eat them for as long as I could.
For example, I made the Bacony Eggs and would eat them for breakfast for about 5 days before I would make another breakfast item, like the chocolate mug bread, and would eat that for 4 days. I followed the recipes in “order” but it took me two weeks to get through the “Week 1” recipes, and two weeks to get through the “Week 2” recipes.
I would try to get 3 or 4 meals out of a lunch/dinner recipe so that I only had to cook about once during a work week and did most of the cooking on the weekend.
My family loved the food I was making! I’m starting the 5th week of making these recipes and I’m a few recipes in on the 3rd week of recipes.
Can you share your results – how your weight has been, while following the P3 program?
I lost 8 more pounds while on Phase 3 and it was so much easier than being on P2 because I wasn’t hungry on P3. I really struggled with hunger on P2 because I don’t think they got my dosage right. I’ve continued to eat the recipes on P4 and my weight is stabilized.
Were there any positive results from following the plan that surprised you, that you weren’t expecting? Have you learned anything new from the program?
I had NO idea I was going to love the food so much. I plan to continue to eat this way going forward and I am so excited that there could be more recipes released in the future.
I have learned to love cooking – something I hated before.
What were one or two of your favorite recipes in the plan?
- My husband’s favorite recipe is the Buffalo Chicken Salad.
- My Son’s favorite recipe is the Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken w/sautéed broccoli
- My Daughter’s favorite recipe was Spaghetti Squash and meatballs
- My favorite recipe…..so hard to pick!……I loved the Bacony Egg cups (made triple batch twice already) and I loved the Deconstructed Pork Eggroll Bowl and the I loved Cauli mash!
Any other closing thoughts that you want to share about your experience with the program, or that might help others considering whether or not to give it a try?
- This program takes all the planning work out of “what am I going to eat”!
- It is easy to adapt to the program to your own needs
- Easy to follow the video and written directions
- Most of all – yummy to eat!
I lost 8 more pounds on P3 and it was the easiest part of this whole journey. The peace of mind I had that all I had to do was follow the plan and I knew I would be successful and I was!

Curious about losing in P3? I thought that you were not to lose but to maintain instead? Doesn’t this threaten your stability and make it possible to regain? This is where I have struggled.

Rayzel personally thinks losing during P3 is fine. Quite a number do this. Though she said that not all who have the intention to lose during P3, do. Meaning, sometimes people are not able to lose weight on their own pre hCG and this doesn’t really change post hCG.

So to clarify, we are not trying to stay with in 2lbs as long as the weight is going down not up….
