I hope you won’t get the impression that I think I’m all that when I post these videos. I really don’t! It’s just with so much flack that the hCG Diet gets for being a “starvation diet” and somehow super unhealthy, I feel like the longer I maintain my weight and the more capable and strong I become, the more that is a reflection of how hCG helped get me here and really proves all those notions dead wrong.
At the same time, I hope I can help inspire you guys still on your weight loss journey that this really does work if and when you are ready for it. I lost almost 2/3rds of the fat on my body with hCG– two thirds! That’s 2/3rds. Did I say two-3rds? I mean how is that possible people? Not that this has never been done with any other diet- certainly it has, but I am glad I chose this protocol for accomplishing this for me personally. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
And when you’re ready to move on to building muscle, man nothing seems to beat crossfit. I’d never in a million years do half the stuff I’m doing if I wasn’t there in that class group environment.
Let’s not forget where I started folks….
I’m wayyyy behind on creating my 1 year anniversary from hCG video- I guess because I want to make it awesome which means I then keep procrastinating on it. I completed round 5 of the protocol on November 2, 2012 which means it’s been officially 14 months now that I’ve been maintaining my 50lb weight loss and 18% bodyfat percent through clean eating (what IS clean eating really anyway? Let’s have a blogpost on that soon shall we?), a little intermittent fasting thrown in here and there, and Crossfit 3-4 times a week.
I love that bazarre look on my face in this one. I think I’ll say it’s easy when I can do it while smiling.
What I Used for My hCG Diet Journey
I do get asked quite often what type of hCG I used etc- I used actual hCG injections for my entire weight loss journey- you can find reliable sources for hCG on my reviews page- these include the 2 sources I personally used for my own weight loss.

You go girl, remember, no matter what you do or say, someone, somewhere is going to not agree with you……you've done an awesome job for yourself. And your videos have kept me on my own hcg journey. And ignor anyone who doesn't support you in your choices, that's what keeping positive people in your life means.

I’ve lost 70 pounds since March 2013. Unfortunately, 50 of that was done the hard way. When I hit a plateau after 5 months, I used the HCG diet to lose the other 20 pounds. Wow. I wish I had known about it in the beginning! I felt perfectly fine while on the HCG diet – never tired, weak, hungry or shaky. It was easy to bring myself back up to normal calories afterwards and stick to it. Basically, I eat “correctly” while at home, then allow myself a few extra calories when I go out to eat. I’ve learned how to appreciate food now and I can enjoy a good meal without pigging out.
I’m healthier and stronger now than I have been in the past 30 years. People are always ready to tell you that you’re too fat and should lose weight and when you do, that you’re too thin. Ignore them. Do the research, find out what your healthy weight should be and live responsibly. You only get one life, one body.
Rayzel, thank you for all your videos. They are very informative, inspirational and really do help! Now I just have to get moving on tightening up all this loose skin. Yuck! lol
Hey Em! Can I call you em? :)- Wow way to go woman 70lbs just since March is quite a feat. You sound like you have the perfect balance between being healthy and balanced. You are so right!! When I first lost 27 lbs my first round, I was actually still overweight, but I started getting a few comments that seemed to be aimed at making me uncomfortable in my new body- it passed- they stopped- you’re so right just ignore it. So…..is there any way I could possibly interview you about your weight loss experience Emily? You sound like you have a great story, especially because you are living a balanced life after hCG with success which is exactly what I want to pass on to everyone- what do you think? You can email me at [email protected] and maybe we could chat a little bit more about it? Would love to hear from you!
