This is one blog post where you really MUST watch the video. I can’t write for you here how big my big pants are on me just after 1 round of hCG. The pants I’m wearing were snug both in the hips, thighs, and waist right before I started Round 5 of human chorionic gonadotropin at 132.5 lbs. The day I have these pants on in the video I’m about 124 lbs and you can see they are pretty much falling off they’re so big. There’s at least 3 inches of space in both the thigh and waist area. This is a good example to show that we don’t want to shoot just for weight loss but rather size loss. That’s why this protocol is so great, because you are actually losing a high percentage of actual FAT on the diet. You can see my before and after weight loss journey photos here.
I just want you guys to see how much can be accomplished with this weight loss protocol in just one round of 40 days (I used HCG Injections myself) even if you are technically not “overweight” or already what you might consider “small.” Ie. you look normal to everyone, but still have fat on your body you could safely and healthfully lose.
Sometimes we think of losing weight as being more difficult the smaller we get, but that has not been my experience on this weight loss protocol this round. I did not expect to lose as much fat as I did- almost a full 10lbs of actual fat this time in fact.

Hi HCGChica, Love, Love, Love your website and youtube videos, I am trying to currently watch all of them from the beginning. You have helped me a lot, in that I see myself in your journey, what you went through I can see myself go through the same worries, excitements, successes, etc… I am too 5’1 and started at 148… so thank you for sharing your journey with us, it helps and supports us in so many ways! My question is, I am supposedly (for my height) needing to be 110lbs for a “healthy and normal” female. Why did you stop at 117 and not do another round, or are you planning to do one last and final one? Did you start getting hungry and notice you were “done”? I am thinking of going all the way until I start feeling hungry even at 800 cal… did you ever get that feeling, since I won’t know what it will feel like, I’d like to know if you did or know of someone who did “finish” her unnatural weight loss journey with HCG. What are your thoughts on that. Thanks again!

Actually what final weight you end up being at and what clothing size that equates to is greatly affected by your ratio of fat to muscle on your body. I ended up joining Crossfit and am really into weight lifting now, so I have built up quite a bit of muscle. So for instance, in high school I was only 102 lbs total. Now I have over 105 lbs in just lean mass alone, and about 21 lbs of fat. My current weight is actually 125-127 and I’m a size 4, which I am very happy at the size this body composition puts me at (and just clarify I didn’t gain 10 lbs of fat after my final round- I’ve put on 10 lbs of muscle). Years ago I had less muscle, but weighed the same, 127ish, and I was actually a size 8 instead of a size 4 – this is because fat takes up more space on your body than muscle, so I wasn’t happy at that weight then because my body composition was not nearly as good making my physical size larger. I could weigh 200 lbs but if I was a size 4 I’d be happy! :)-
When I weighed that 102 lbs in high school, I had a lot less muscle on my body. I was also a smaller size just because I really was SO little, but I’m really not concerned with being that little anymore- at 33 years old and post-child, that would be too hard for me to maintain I feel. I feel each of us has to strike that balance between being within a normal weight range (because there is definitely a range of healthy) with how easy or difficult it is to maintain that weight. It is VERY easy for me to maintain my current size and I’m EXTREMELY fit from 3 years of crossfitting now. It’s possible that I could maintain a lower weight and body fat percent, but I think it would require I be a lot more vigilant/a lot more denying myself all the time, etc. and I just don’t see the need. So basically, I just think I look good lol where I’m at and am not concerned with 2-4 lbs more fat I could lose. Perhaps someday if I get really anal about it!
Lastly, I was not hungry at all at the 117 mark on hCG on 125iu’s per day. I was definitely eating the full 500 calories by the 2nd half of the round, and some days more like 600. I didn’t seem to need more than 600 at that point. So definitely, if you personally choose to get down farther on the scale, I think it’s totally possible.
The 2 things I think will need to be kept in mind when you do this is 1. what you already mentioned is that you may need to increase your calories based on hunger. The vast majority at this leaner size seem to do best with the minimal 125iu dose, and any hunger still going on would indicate you should increase protein calories. 2. the weight will definitely be coming off much more slowly at this point than much heavier people.
So as long as you know that, I think that will help prevent frustrations on such a round.

Hi! I’ve used homeopathic HCG in the past and had great results (60 lb loss in one round) however I felt my body composition wasn’t changing as I was losing. Did you feel you were getting sizable body composition changes throughout each round while doing the injections? I’ve been thinking of switching.

I really believe in how the real hormone interacts with your body for fat loss and preservation of lean muscle mass. I hope that helps! – Rayzel
