It’s important when you are on the hCG Diet to be using hCG that is active. After all, the hCG hormone and how it works in sync with the diet is not a placebo right? If you are not sure you believe this, research the diet and people’s hCG results a little more so that you will take this part seriously. Check out my youtube playlist of before and after hCG Diet results here.
While hCG CAN register on a pregnancy test, I no longer view it as reliable, and I explain why in detail with a very good example here:

When Should You Test Your hCG?
Most of the time you will only need to test your hCG once, when you first mix it, and sometimes twice, if you are planning on using the same hCG mixture for more than 3 weeks, you will probably want to test it again as you near a month using it. Here’s a breakdown of when are the best times to test your hCG:
1. At the start of each round- right after you mix your hCG, test it with a pregnancy test. Instructions here.
2. If you plan on using 1 batch of hCG for more than 3 weeks- for instance, the ushcg injection kits are designed to be used for close to a full month with the same batch. Test it as you approach that 30 day mark to make sure it’s still working for you. I did this myself when I used their hCG for round 5 and the hCG was still testing positive on day 30 of it’s use. Good stuff!
3. If you ever accidentally leave out your hCG for several hours unrefrigerated or forget to cover your vial with foil to keep the light out- test it to make sure it’s still potent after being left out.
4. If you are feeling abnormally hungry and weak after already trying to adjust your dose, etc. and it’s been awhile since you’ve tested it.
