Thyroid Medication: Where to buy T3 aka Cytomel or Cynomel Online
Can I do the HCG diet if I have hypothyroidism? And do I need to take the thyroid medicine too while on hCG?
Remember the following is just non-professional opinion.
Personally a lot of the people who do the HCG protocol, including myself, do it BECAUSE we have hypothyroidism. It’s the only protocol that has actually worked for weight loss for many women when other diets didn’t work. HCG as a non-placebo hormone seems to actually protect the metabolism and I’ve seen it really does preserve lean muscle while losing weight and this means that a person can lose weight and be able to adapt back to life after eight loss more easily with less likelihood of regaining the weight.
Now it’s not a replacement for making sure to have proper thyroid meds- I take some myself- and there’s a lot of good info on this site about getting PROPER thyroid meds, which many regular MD’s do NOT prescribe so you might want to check it out: stopthethyroidmadness.com – this seems to be really important for maintaining weight loss long term.
I personally would never stop my thyroid meds. HCG doesn’t fix the thyroid or anything. You will actually lose weight better/at normal rate if you make sure your metabolism is helped by your meds while on HCG. Some lose slower if they are hypothyroid and don’t have proper thyroid medication but they often still lose and do well.
