I wish I had something more in depth and detailed put together for my 3 year anniversary of maintaining my weight loss with real hCG Injections that I purchased online. But I don’t. But at least I can give you a snapshot of what I’ve been up to.

Where have I BEEN?
This is the first time in over 3 years that I have taken a complete break from consistently creating hCG content and answering emails. I have truly enjoyed what I’ve been doing the past few years, but as I mentioned, it came to a point recently where all of a sudden there were some other LARGE projects looming my life that I simply couldn’t ignore, and I realized, ‘wow, I can’t have this many large projects in my life at once right now – because I feel like I might self combust at the moment’.
So, am I somewhere off in Cabo eating beer and chips with a new roll around my middle that isn’t a floatie device?
Good news there. Well, depends actually. I’m not in Cabo, which I guess could be considered a bummer, although I think I’m personally more of a mountain person, but the main point people always wonder about when hCG people “disappear” unannounced is did that fat come back???
As you can see in my notes below, I am actually maintaining on the lower end of my average the past few years right now – anywhere between 122-125 lbs, comfy size 4, just like usual.

I am at that point where I feel like I can keep this in check indefinitely. Well maybe until menopause hits anyway – then I might be having a run for my money and I’ll be hoping hCG is still accessible. :)-
Life is up and down at times with things that are challenging or difficult to manage, but I have….
certain habits now that are non-negotiable.
Non-Negotiable Habit #1: Crossfit 3xs a week.
I don’t care how busy or stressed or tired I am. I go. If I don’t do this, I guarantee other parts of me and my life will begin to unravel very quickly. So even though logically at times it may seem like I’d be better off putting off my workout to accomplish some pressing paperwork etc., I realize this is faulty thinking on my part, so it is never a question of whether I will get my 3x’s a week or not. It’s one of my main sanity savers, one of the things that is CENTRAL to me continuing to taking care of my body in the proper way.
It has NOTHING to do with number of calories burned and everything to do with the MINDSET that doing this activity consistently keeps me in.
My son, at 6, is at the age where he is starting to be very interested in learning what I do and copying what I do pretty capably. This is what I had been so fearful of 5 years ago, prior to finding hCG and gaining control over my poor habits that had overtaken me – my son doing what I did. I didn’t want to see my son eating a box of oreos a few times a week, but that’s the type of stuff I was doing back then.
I think it’s the curse of motherhood to feel inadequate the majority of the time as a mother- there’s always something I wish I was doing more of or better when it comes to my son, HOWEVER, in this one regard, I do feel good that with hCG as the turning point, I have made the change to being the example I want to be to him when it comes to health and how a person cares for their body.
Non-Negotiable Habit #2: Eating The Way I’ve Decided to Eat
I wasn’t quite sure what to title this. Eating the the way I’ve decided to eat is really the best way to describe it and what it means is that I have created my own pattern of eating that I am comfortable with that allows me to maintain AND that I am able to stay in control of. I have certain off-limit foods and I have foods I can eat freely.
I can eat fruit in moderation without wanting to gorge on it, so I eat very freely of fruit. I can’t eat cookies or ice-cream without wanting to eat entire bags of it, so this is something I have just decided is off limits for me personally. This allows me to never really be in a danger zone when it comes to eating, while still enjoying my life and enjoying what I eat in life, because I get to eat what I expect to be able to eat. I don’t know if that makes sense, it’s hard to explain.
Basically I eat fries because I can maintain while eating fries and I don’t feel the need to eat fries every day. But that’s not how things are with say, cookies. If I eat a cookie right now, I will want 10 more in about 5 minutes, and I will want another 30 tomorrow, another 30 the day after tomorrow, etc. etc.
So this is what I mean by creating my own pattern of eating that keeps me safe. It’s not that I eat 100% organic whole foods all the time. I eat what I can eat safely without losing my ability to control what I eat as well as what I can maintain with and I stick with this pattern, regardless of what events are going on or where I am.
How I Stick With It and Why My Non-Negotiable Habits Are So Important
So for instance, part of my time off from hCG land, I have been visiting my parents more frequently a few hours away. I purposefully designed/planned things out so that my habits would be the same while there as at home. I bring food that I cook, I brought frozen fruit so I could make my usual “dessert” of frozen fruit smoothies, I attend a crossfit nearby while there etc, I don’t eat before noon or 1pm and I DO still eat late at night (that’s just what fits into my personal lifestyle and works very well for me) – I keep everything as must the same as possible and don’t deviate from my core habits that enable me to stay in control of myself and to keep making the right decisions for my body.
And my family ain’t complaining because they’re getting some yummy homemade meals since I make extra of course!

My Big Projects
Well I can’t share them all, but one of our big projects is we are trying to fix up this place we bought to be able to move in, quickly, because it’s going to make things easier on us financially in the long run.
This is a lot of work.

Does that look like a livable home to you?
I didn’t think so. Soooo we have been working our butts off almost literally every spare moment.
One way I’ve been combining one priority (to do: create livable home with at very least kitchen sink and 1 full bedroom for sleeping) with a 2nd priority (to do: homeschool son with skills that will actually be useful) is by involving our son in some of the projects. He is a quick learner and I love that I get to teach him some basic renovation stuff.
He’s gotten his hands on some of first power tools now, the safest ones –

I’ve been teaching him to paint- both inside and out. And boy that kid does good work!

My son was a ringbearer in a wedding, and I could only get him to dance with me after everyone had already left. #doesntwanttobeseendancingwithmommy
Our son is growing so fast and I’m finding that I really need to BE there DOING stuff with him more of the time.
Another time and energy investment has been in my own son’s way of eating. Even though I have my way of eating, up to this point I have let my son continue eating his granola bars and tortillas everyday because he’s skin and bones anyway and doesn’t seem to have a problem with overeating whatsoever. But my husband and I both began to feel like his energy level was beyond simple exuberance was becoming difficult to manage, where he couldn’t focus on conversations with people or listen too well. A major problem to parents! So we decided to remove sugar completely from his diet which means I am cooking a lot more again than I was.
The results have been significant- my son is still himself- exuberant, opinionated, lively, fun-loving – but he’s not bouncing off the walls the way he was and can exhibit the self-control that he was having trouble displaying before.
Well worth the time and energy involved let me tell ya!
Other than that, something that is entirely NOT picture worthy is that I had a huge backlog of paperwork/bookkeeping/all-things-i-hate to catch up with.
How Are You Doing All This If You’re Sick??
Some of you who have been around my blog awhile and know that I have both Hashimotos (confirmed) and Chronic Lyme Disease (unconfirmed but my personal belief) might be wondering HOW are you doing all this home renovation stuff????
I’m currently experiencing another remission folks! I don’t know how long it will last but I have been doing SO much better healthwise than in about 3 years. Usually I experience a lot of pain and achiness in the whole lower half of my body from even something simple like standing too long to cook something or wash dishes. And forget walking around Lowes or Home Depot – that was always a recipe for several hours in bed after.
I’ve been under treatment by an alternative care type person and I can’t really understand it to be honest- all he’s really had me take is VERY few drops of colloidal silver, and a few other random pills here and there, and now I’m doing this good right now. It’s weird. But I’ll take it! It’s perfect timing since I NEED to have this sort of ability and stamina right now. Oh yeah, and I do still take 12.5 mcg of active thyroid hormone, t3 aka cytomel, and 20mg of cortisol for my adrenals every day too. That stuff definitely helps.
When you lose your health, you literally REVEL in having it if you get it back. I’ve been climbing ladders, troweling drywall mud on walls, being on my feet for HOURS with NO PAIN – I mean honestly I can hardly believe it- after a long day of busy activity I am still in amazement to not be in pain and not be totally wiped out and fatigued like chronic illness usually feels like – many of you know what I’m talking about – that fatigue that is NOT simply tiredness.
I’ve had remissions before so I don’t expect necessarily to be well for years to come, but I will enjoy it and safeguard it as long it lasts!
Now Ya Know
So now you know what I’m up to and why I’ve been quiet over here, and that I’m still maintaining my hCG weight loss, over 3 years later now.
It CAN be done. For any of you who don’t know me well yet, I used to binge eat folks. Binge on ice cream and cookies daily. I haven’t binged in over 3 years and I’ve been completely gluten free for 5 years now. I’ve been consistently crossfitting for 3.5 years. I haven’t used hCG since my last round in November 2012. I am fitter today than when I ended.
I will be back with you all again soon- I have lots more great hCG interviews to come and more articles and videos, once I get over some of these other larger projects in my life.
